About Carlos!
Carlos (he/him/his) is a latino, gleeful, lighthearted, yet determined & creative performer who was born, raised and currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a strong advocator for authentic storytelling as that is the true heart and soul of any performance. Growing up in Arizona, Carlos fully jumped into the theatre world in high school where he participated in some productions, then transitioned to community theatre in Scottsdale, Arizona-eventually booking his first professional theatre for young audiences contract outside of Arizona with Magik Theatre in San Antonio, Texas. He hopes to continue to spread the beautiful art of theatre through authentic storytelling leaving audiences with a spark from each show. He is a strong believer in equity, diversion, and inclusion in every single room that he is present in and hopes to bring nothing but kindness, smiles, and giggles to wherever he is led.
Carlos will be graduating from Barrett, the Honors College from Arizona State University this spring (May 2025) with a bachelors of arts in Justice Studies, along with certificates in disabilities studies and socio-legal studies. During his time at Arizona State he had the pleasure of being coached vocally by Carole FitzPatrick. Additionally he was working with Childsplay Theatre, a theatre for young audiences company based in Tempe, Arizona while also simtanously completing his degree. He has a strong work ethic and is ready to take on any challenge thrown onto his path.
When not performing, Carlos spends his time working with a party entertainment companies hosting parties or cosplaying characters for them. You can also find him in the kitchen making his lattes with his espresso maker that he uses 24/7.
