Resources+
*Welcome to the Resources+ tab, an essential addition to my website as it provides resource links to external sites for BIPOC (Black, Indigenous-People of Color)actors, LGBTQ+(Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Queer, +) actors, and actors with Disabilities for extra support or educational information. These resources are essential to the theatre community always to ensure representation and protections in both the work and the actor, but also due to the current political climate where protections and representation are being negatively targeted. Check out my script(s) analysis below:
The two current analysis include: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time for straight play. For musical the selection is Tiananmen: A New Musical.
Script analysis is crucial to the theatre atmosphere as it not only provides deep examination of the plot itself, it also allows an opportunity to examine any social justice and/or identity issues further, along with underlying themes that can be compared to today’s society and highlight the educational motifs being embedded within the narrative structure itself.
